College Grove provides an opportunity for girls to play youth softball.  Our league emphasizes learning the fundamentals of the game while having fun in a recreational, but competitive setting. 

Ages - We offer youth softball for girls, ages 5 – 13 years old.  Our age divisions include:

6U (coach pitch/tee ball)- Monday games

8U (coach pitch)- Tuesday games

10U (kid pitch)- Thursday games

13U (kid pitch)- Monday games

ALL COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A BACKGROUND CHECK. If you are planning on being a coach we need your first and last name and a good email address.

We can't have enough volunteers.  Whether it's Head coach, Assistance Coach or just helping with field prep, ect.  We are so appreciate to those that step up and can't make this league successful for the children without you.
 

The AGE CUT OFF DATE is 8/31/2024.  Your child’s age on 8/31/2024 is the age used for each division.  (For example, if your child is 7 or 8 years old by 8/31/2024 will play in the 8U division.)

Please note that the online registration system will automatically default you into the correct age group when you enter your child’s date of birth into the system. 

FEES: The registration fee is $150/child for each age group. 

What the registration fees include: The cost of player registration includes but is not limited to the following: full uniform (jersey, pants, belt, and socks) for each player and shirt for three coaches, equipment (one dozen softballs, catchers gear, batting tee, etc.) for the team, umpire fees for all games, field prep costs throughout the season and league insurance. Uniforms, game balls, and the cost for umpires represent approximately 70% of each child’s registration fee. The remainder of the registration fee goes toward expenses such as field maintenance, equipment, and field chalk.

Projected Schedule:  2 games/week + 1 practice per week when games start (2 practices per week before games start)

Practice will start 2 weeks before 1st games

We serve College Grove and surrounding areas.  Our players range in ability from beginner to having played from the first possible moment. 

We strive to create balanced teams for each season and hold player evaluations for some divisions before practice begins.  We hope you will register your child for our league.
